Dear TD-SCDMA Forum members,

TD-SCDMA Forum is a non-profitable international telecommunication organization, and is the host of all the previous International TD-SCDMA Summits. TD-SCDMA Forum aims to provide an interface platform for cooperations in TD-SCDMA and LTE among worldwide standardization organizations, operators, vendors, research institutes, investment organizations, and other relevant companies or groups. This Forum is focused on the promotion and productization of the TD-SCDMA and LTE technologies. Currently the Forum has more than 400 members from nearly all important sectors of the 3G industry chain, including telecom operators like China Mobile, domestic and overseas telecom equipment manufacturers, etc.

China Mobile has officially launched the trail TD-SCDMA commercial service on Apr. 1st, 2008. TD-SCDMA will be tested by the public users at 2008 Beijing Olympics. More and more world-renowned companies joined the TD-SCDMA industry supply chain and invest substantially on TD-SCDMA. TD-SCDMA is the attention focus of global telecom industry.

As the 2008 Beijing Olympics is approaching, and as we are expecting the grant of the 3G licenses in China, the TD-SCDMA Evolution and LTE Summit, jointly held by TD-SCDMA Forum in association with China Mobile, CCSA, 3GPP and UMTS Forum, is of great significance. It will be a strong impetus to the TD-SCDMA industry development as well as a solid foundation for the TD-SCDMA evolution and LTE (including TD-LTE). This Summit marks a milestone that will have far-reaching influence upon the development of TD-SCDMA.

In addition to the keynote speeches and penal discussions on different topics, the Summit will provide a demo area and a variety of social activities to facilitate the communications of attendees. Penetrating, accurate, timely and comprehensive analysis of the latest achievements and future trend of global TD-SCDMA and LTE technologies will be presented during the Summit.

The Summit will convince interested parties that TD-SCDMA has already stepped into the commercial deployment period. We expect that the Summit will trigger further support from different parties for TD-SCDMA, and its evolution technologies.
