K1297-G35 is a full-feature, compact protocol tester from Tektronix and provides a flexible, modular hardware and software platform for monitoring, simulation and emulation of network traffics. It provides a wide range of interface modules and software and can test most interfaces in mobile communication, core and access networks. K1297-G35 supports monitoring, simulation and emulation and includes network element emulation and compliance test.

RF Field Test: TD-SCDMA measurements available on NetTek

Designed for Network Operator Installation and Maintenance technicians, NetTek is a “First in the Field” antenna test and TD-SCDMA BTS test in a single instrument providing a set of TD-SCDMA-specific RF measurements including RF Channel Power per time slot, OBW on a selected time slot and a useful measurement summary page.

Thanks to this new solution on NetTek, it will be possible to Install or maintain TD-SCDMA base stations without having to rely on multiple instruments not specifically designed for the unique requirements of the job.

Tektronix' RF field test solution combines hand-held spectrum analyzer, GPS location information, and internal mapping capabilities to create a field ready frequency clearing tool for spotting and dealing with erroneous RF signals. Additional capabilities include demodulation measurements for new technologies including TD-SCDMA, W-CDMA and HSDPA.

TD-SCDMA Field Trial and Deployment: NSA for Effective and Efficient Troubleshooting

NSA is a software environment for online and offline testing on the K15 and K18 platform. It targets UTRAN network monitoring, troubleshooting and performance analysis. It enables 3G Mobile Network operators and equipment manufacturers to identify the root cause of poor quality of 3G services, by mapping 3G service problems into the underlying UTRAN network problems. NSA provides standard TDD radio KPIs as well as the TD-SCDMA specific KPIs including RAB setup success rate, Radio Completion rate, RRC connection Setup per service, Call Loss rate and CS Domain Service Call Loss Rate.
