integrates RADCOM's proprietary GEAR (generic analyzer
processor chip), which provides hardware-based full line rate
analysis capabilities at up to 2.5 Gbps. The complete Cellular
Performer suite offers a range of applications for
troubleshooting 2.5 and 3G networks, including GPRS, UMTS£¬TD-SCDMA
and CDMA2000. |

Analyzing packets and cells in real time at up to
2.5 Gbps, the GEAR chip enables
users to capture large buffers of traffic and filter/analyze them
at full line rates,
regardless of the interface types and protocols. Predefined and
user-defined
analyses and filters allow fast realization of traffic characteristics
and pinpointing of
abnormal conditions at different layers. Synchronized timestamps
enable accurate
and time-dependent measurements inside the platform, between several
platforms
in the lab (using a sync cable) and sites (using a GPS clock).
The Cellular Performer offers an extensive set of physical and link
layer
measurements, which help improve network efficiency irrespective
of whether the
transport layer is ATM, Frame Relay or Ethernet. It also provides
fully automatic
online and offline GPRS deciphering capabilities, session-level
analysis of IP sessions
and voice calls, and end-to-end voice quality measurements. |

| The Cellular Performer analyzes and troubleshoots
network conditions at all seven telecommunication layers; from basic
physical and link layer tests to complex tracing of NAS layer voice,
IP session signaling and data/voice QoS validation. This makes it
an ideal tool for debugging; troubleshooting; maintaining and monitoring
performance of GPRS, UMTS, TD-SCDMA and CDMA2000 networks; running
QA and product verification/integration/installation tests and performing
lab and field testing.The Cellular Performer is available in both
portable and scalable rack-mount configurations. Tests can be performed
by using the embedded-PC environment, or remotely from any PC. |

| The Cellular Performer is based on a distributed model
allowing any authorized LAN (or
WAN) user to remotely access files, hardware resources and applications,
optimizing test
equipment usage. Automated testing procedures use proprietary scripting
tools running
on a single Cellular Performer or an entire lab setup. Additionally,
using RADCOM's
GenFEP (generic front-end processor), a single processor can be
used for several
technologies by simply switching between line interface modules
(LIMs). For
converged network environments, where simultaneous GPRS/UMTS, TD-SCDMA
CDMA2000, R99/R4/R5 or data/voice testing is required, a single
Cellular
Performer can be used to accommodate all needs. |
