On July 4th, in the banquet hall of Ritz-Carlton, Beijing Financial Street, the banquet in the theme of “Together, After Storm We Have Rainbow” remarking the 10th anniversary of acceptance of TD-SCDMA as international standard is held by the TD-SCDMA Forum and the TD-SCDMA Industry Alliance. More than 40 leaders, experts and technological talents who have made fundamental contribution to TD-SCDMA in the early stage were present at the event. The event was held as a banquet in memory and commemorate of the ten years development course of TD-SCDMA, and to express the future prospect of TD-SCDMA.

The banquet is hosted by Mr. Zhou Huan, the chairman of TD-SCDMA Forum. Mr. Zhou pointed out that TD-SCDMA is a turning point for Chinese telecom industry to turn from big to strong and it is much more meaningful than the technology itself. It is a technology developed by Chinese people independently and has been accepted as 3G international standard. It is the first step for China’s century-long telecom dream to come true. Ten years later, TD-SCDMA has become a will the State and a comprehensively developed industry. On this day to look back, TD-SCDMA Forum and Industry Alliance have invited senior leaders, experts and technological professionals together to commemorate and discuss this long journey and look in the future for its broad and bright prospective.
