3G TD-SCDMA, WCDMA Technical Training and Second Training
for TD-SCDMA Network Deployment and Planning
TD-SCDMA Forum
On Jan. 9-12, 2007, MII Telecom Standard Research Institute
(RITT) and TD-SCDMA Forum hosted the 3G TD-SCDMA and WCDMA technical
training in Beijing. This is also the second time the two parties
joint hands to host training on TD-SCDMA network deployment and
planning.
TD-SCDMA large scale network application trial has been basically
finished and it has attracted a lot of attention in the industry.
Key radio technologies in TD-SCDMA, network deployment technology
as well as its network functionalities have been tested and verified
in this trial. By conducting the trial, TD-SCDMA technology and
relevant terminal development, testing technologies have been
verified and developed, which is extremely valuable for future
network planning and optimization.
Last year, the two parties had held a similar training jointly
on TD-SCDMA standard and trials. So this training is based on
the successful experience of last year¡¯s event and aims to satisfy
demands of the industry insiders. Nearly 120 people from the industry
attended this training.
Experts from MII RITT, BUPT, Datang Mobile, TD Tech, ZTE etc.
introduced to the trainees TD-SCDMA large-scale network applications
trials, key technologies in commercial terminals and terminal
testing system development, 3G enhanced technology and LTE, etc.
In addition, discussions were held on TD-SCDMA evolution and development
roadmap. After the training course, TD-SCDMA Forum has also organized
online Q&A sessions on the Forum¡¯s website and BBS and created
a better environment for the trainees and experts to discuss and
communicate.¡¡
This training helped organizations in this industry to better
understand TD-SCDMA key technology as well as its network deployment,
network planning and optimization, terminal development and testing,
enhanced technology and LTE etc., which will benefit TD-SCDMA
R&D and industrialization. ¡¡
About MII RITT:
MII RITT was the drafter of Chinese homegrown 3G TD-SCDMA standard
specifications. RITT has a lot of experts who have deep understanding
of TD-SCDMA and have been tracking the development of this technology
these years. RITT has carried out many tasks in launching the
