Keynote speeches as well as open discussion were jointly provided during the workshop to share the TD-SCDMA achievements and define focus of the next year.

During the workshop, experts from BUPT, RITT and CYIT delivered keynote speeches about the TD-SCDMA industry analysis, ways and focus of how to commercialize TD-SCDMA, 3G technology evolution and progress in E3G research, TD-SCDMA terminals and etc. In addition, in-depth analysis was given to the current status of TD-SCDMA industry and its future evolution. Datang Mobile, TD Tech, Shanghai Bell Alcatel, T3G, TCL, LG electronics, Tektronics and Dilithium also introduced respectively TD-SCDMA R&D progress in their organizations, relevant services and applications and etc. During the workshop, representatives also discussed topics of their common interest.

Accurate information about the status of different sector development, future commercialization and evolution path was introduced. In addition, this workshop further bridged the government and enterprises from both the upstream and downstream of the TD-SCDMA industry chain and will provide reference for the future TD-SCDMA commercialization.
