Mr.Sun Lei, General Manager of Field Test Department, Datang Mobile Communications Equipment Co.Ltd; General Manager of Engineering Technology Department. Mr.Sun was born in Apr,1976 and got bachelor degree from Shenyang Aviation University in 1997. He was devoted to R&D work in the former Aviation Industry Company from 1997 to 1999. Mr. Sun joined Shanghai Datang in 1999, and is responsible for the TD-SCDMA system Test currently.

Mr. YANG Guiliang , General Manager of New Technology Department, Datang Mobile Co. He got the bachelor degree from TsingHua University in 1995 and got the master degree in 1998 in CATT. From 1996, he joints the project on developping SCDMA system. In 1998, he joints the drafting group of 3G TD-SCDMA standard, which was submitted by China as 3G candidates and approved by ITU. From the end of 1999, he focuses on the TD-SCDMA integration in 3GPP community.

Q: Would you like to talk about the status of the Live Demo on Feb.3, as well as the work schedule after that?
A: The Live Demo gained praises from government officers and experts. For the next step, the test of TD-SCDMA will be able to provide more services and better functions.

Q: Would the leaders give us more surport?
A: i also hope the government and operators will give more support on TD-SCDMA.

Q: When will the test of large range start? And where? Is it planed in Beijing?
A: The large range test should be operated according to the overall arrangement of MII. And we are also getting close touch with several opreators now.

Q: By this DEMO, would we get more money?

Q: Which terminal did it use in this Live Demo, Datang's or analog terminal?
A: The terminals used in this Live Demo include FTMS--the Live Test terminal developed by Datang, and analog terminal developed together with Siemens.

Q: Will the mobile speed of terminal really reach 240km/h?
A: The mobile speed reached 80Km/h in Live Demo of this time, while the highest mobile speed that has been tested is 125Km/H. We'll manage to receive the speed of 240Km/h in this year.

Q: When will DaTang Group go to IPO?
A: We hope that after the conditions got ready, the earlier,the better.

Q: When will the Demo last to? Will the working emphasis of next step still be Demo?
A: The emphasis of next step is to carry the single system test organized by 3g technology expert group, as well as the Live Test held among the network of operators.

Q: Since your is only a single BTS test, so there is no handover mechanism, do you test the higher layer signalling functionality in the sing BTS system?
A£ºThe high layer protocol testing is on going.
