Profile of TD Forum

TD Forum is a global cooperative organization, aimed at promoting TD-SCDMA and TD-LTE mobile communication technology innovation and industry development. TD Forum's predecessor is TD-SCDMA Forum, which was established on December 12, 2000. In January 2009, the TD-SCDMA Forum was renamed TD Forum. Honorable chairman of the Forum is China¡¯s prominent scientist Mr. Zhou Guangzhao, the former Vice President of the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress.

TD Forum is committed to promoting the exchanges and cooperation between the member enterprises and government, expanding TD-SCDMA and TD-LTE technology and product promotion, and being the think tank for government industry policy-making and member enterprises development strategy planning for over a decade, contributing to the scientific evolution and sustainable and health development of mobile communication technology.

The establishment and development of TD Forum has gained strong support from many industry enterprises. As of April 2012, TD Forum has 15 director member enterprises, 27 senior member enterprises and over 400 ordinary member enterprises, covering all sectors of the value chain, namely operators, TD core R&D vendors, system and content providers, financial and investment organizations, research institutions, etc.


Today, TD Forum continues to promote the success commercialization of TD-SCDMA while actively launching TD-LTE technology research and collaboration for enterprises. Under the Chinese Government's great support and guidance, we work at international cooperation, coordination of the member enterprises and industry parties, solving technology problems during TD-LTE development process to make TD-LTE industry chain bigger and stronger.

TD Forum Training Platform TD Forum provides a database of professional technical training courses. TD Forum members can input their training programs into this database, and the TD Forum will help its members to promote and deliver these courses. In addition, via this platform, TD Forum members can easily find the training programs that satisfy their individual demand. Tailored training is also available.

TD Forum Media Platform Starting from 2007, TD Forum launched the TD-SCDMA Companies¡¯ Executive Interview Series jointly with Sina.Com. These interviews conveyed to the public opinions and in-depth analysis of mainstream vendors on TD-SCDMA standard, industry R&D and their forecasts about TD-SCDMA future commercialization. These interviews were released simultaneously on Sina Tech and TD Forum website.

TD Forum HR Platform TD Forum has an human resource database, aiming to provide an alternative channel for its member organizations to post their recruitment informationand find the ¡°right one¡± sooner.
