On the afternoon of October 20, Mr. Zhou Huan,
chairman of TD Forum went to the China Hall of Science and Technology,
visited with Mr. Zhou Guangzhao, former Vice Chairman of the Standing
Committee of the National People¡¯s Congress and Honorary Chairman
of the TD Forum, and reported the current development in the work
of TD-SCDMA.

Zhou Huan introduced the current condition of since TD trial
commercial use to Mr. Zhou Guangzhao, including the situation
in the operation of TD by China Mobile and problems in the development
of TD. He also discussed with Mr. Zhou Guangzhao on the issues
of TD network construction speed, operation mode of the operator,
current development of 3G in China, governmental policies that
support independent innovation as well as State property system
evaluation.

Zhou Huan is grateful for the care and support for TD that
Mr. Zhou Guangzhao gave. Mr. Zhou Guangzhao said there are many
challenges in the future development of TD and more effort shall
be paid. He hope that organizations like TD Forum make more
effort in the future to assist the development of Chinese technology
with independent IPR: TD-SCDMA.
